JOB SUMMARY:
Direct Care Workers (Team Members) provide services that will assist in the development of independent living skills and personal goals while providing support to adults with developmental disabilities. Duties may include overseeing and conducting various activities such as life skills development and instructing and/or assisting in self-care, grooming, personal hygiene and other activities of daily living including meal preparation and medication administration.
Prior training such as MORC Entry Level Caregiving, First Aid/CPR, Recipient Rights and Bloodborne Pathogens is preferred but, not mandatory. We offer training!
REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for several reliable, responsible, and motivated individuals to join our team!
Our Team Members work a variety of shifts. Applicants must be flexible and may be required to work midnights and/or weekends.
Applicants must be able to provide proof of valid Michigan driver's license with no current suspensions and current, valid vehicle insurance.
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to transport the individuals that we serve to community outings and appointments.
